Pellikaan Timing is a independent watch brand founded in 2009 in Utrecht, Netherlands by Hubert Pellikaan. From the outset, the brand has built watches that has clear mechanical discipline with a distinctive visual language, always emphasizing usability and enduring quality. Pellikaan watches are proudly “Dutch Made”, often powered by Swiss movements that are refined to the brand’s own standards, reflecting both a love for beautiful aesthetics and robust engineering in everyday wear.

The Flying Dutchman II features a bold black dial with contrasting hands that support clear time reading. Its layout remains elegant, balanced and aesthetically appealing. The Breguet-style hands introduce a more classical touch, adding refinement to the design of the dial, while the small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock enhances the symmetry of the display. The case is crafted from stainless steel, providing a solid and durable foundation for the design.

The watch is powered by the Swiss ETA 6498-1 hand-wound movement, a calibre with deep roots in traditional watchmaking that was originally developed for pocket watches and continues in production today. Known for its simplicity and robustness, the movement features classic finishing elements such as traditional Swiss decoration that are visible through its display caseback. With a manual-winding mechanism and around 46 hours of power reserve, it stays true to the heritage of mechanical watchmaking while offering a reliable timekeeping experience.

The watch is available in a black or brown leather strap or a NATO-style strap, allowing for different wearing preferences and styles.
