The Sector, Parea’s debut release launched in 2025, is a watch that quickly caught our attention. It presents a modern interpretation of the classic sector dial design, a style that rose to prominence during the Art Deco era. Parea Sector's dial is built around the classic sector dial design approach, where multiple circles of varying sizes share the same centre, visually dividing the dial into distinct segments. This layout creates a clear separation between the hour display on an inner ring and the minute track on the outer ring, enhancing structure, aesthetics and legibility.

The dial of the Parea Sector – Forest Green showcases a richly textured take on the classic sector layout, using multiple finishes to create depth and visual contrast. At the centre, the innermost circle features a granular texture, housing the PAREA brand name, while a crosshair design runs across the dial, dividing the dial into quadrants and reinforcing its vintage-inspired character. Moving outward, the next segment introduces a circular guilloché pattern, paired with large applied hour markers that enhance legibility. The dial is then framed by an outer railway track, clearly marking the minutes and completing the structured and concentric design.

The watch is powered by the Miyota 9039 automatic movement, a slim and reliable calibre that has been further refined with a custom rotor and regulation to ensure consistent and high-level performance. Its thin profile helps the watch achieve a well-balanced and refined overall proportion. With 50 metres of water resistance, it is well suited for everyday use, offering protection against splashes and light exposure to water.

The watch is available in five distinct dial colours - Ocean Blue, Plum, Dragon Red, Black and Forest Green - offering a range that spans from classic to bold and vibrant. Each piece is supplied with two handmade straps, including a calfskin leather strap and a suede leather strap, fitted with quick-release spring bars for easy strap changes. The watches are shipped from Australia and come with a two-year international warranty.
