Lacité, meaning “The City” in French, is a Montréal, Canada based brand founded by a small two-person team, Olivier and Fred. Rooted in their hometown’s bilingual identity, the brand draws inspiration from global cities - creating watches designed for urban life and international travel. While their first limited edition pays tribute to Montréal, future releases will spotlight other cities around the world.

The Urbanite GMT marks their debut model: a travel-ready GMT crafted with city dwellers in mind. The watches are hand assembled in Montreal. The Urbanite GMT’s silver dial is elevated by subtle yet striking red accents - seen in the date window, the seconds hand, and the tip of the GMT hand. These touches of red add energy and contrast, giving the otherwise restrained silver base a distinctive and visually engaging character. The date window at 3 o’clock integrates seamlessly into the design, adding both practicality and visual balance. With 100 meters of water resistance, the watch offers everyday practicality for city life and travel. On the wrist, the story continues on the exhibition caseback — a sapphire crystal window that reveals the movement within.

Each watch is hand-assembled in the brand’s home city of Montréal, reinforcing its local roots and the personal involvement behind every piece.The watches are currently available for pre-order, with production limited to just 100 pieces per colour.
