Marloe Watch Company is a British independent brand founded in 2015 by Oliver and industrial designer Gordon, born from a desire to create watches with genuine mechanical substance at accessible prices. Disillusioned after discovering that his expensive branded watch was powered by a basic plastic quartz movement, Oliver set out to build something more meaningful — a thoughtfully designed, well-engineered timepiece with a mechanical heart. Within a year, Oliver and his buinsess partner Gordon released their first mechanical model, laying the foundation for a brand that has since earned a respected place in the growing British watch scene. The name “Marloe” pays tribute to Oliver’s hometown of Marlow on the River Thames, near the company’s headquarters in Sonning Common.

Marloe’s design philosophy is rooted in stories of human endeavour and the spirit of doing things properly. Each watch draws inspiration from individuals who pursued ambitious goals with passion, resilience, and craftsmanship, reflecting the same dedication that defines mechanical watchmaking itself.
