Founded in the UK in 2004 by Mike France, Peter Ellis, and Christopher Ward, the brand made the debut in 2005 with its first two models. By adopting a direct-to-consumer model from the outset, Christopher Ward was able to offer high-quality mechanical watches at more approachable prices, challenging the traditional Swiss watch industry where similar timepieces were often far more expensive.
