Ugur Mamak, founder of Batavi Watches, turned a lifelong passion for timepieces into his own independent brand journey. His fascination began in childhood with a simple digital Casio and grew into a deep appreciation for vintage watches and the engineering craft behind them. After years of collecting and trading vintage pieces - and inspired by the rise of independent microbrands - Ugur persevered through early setbacks before ultimately launching Batavi in 2017.
