Why we curated this watch
Yema, being the official timekeeper of the Alpine Elf Cup Series - a car racing championship started in 2018 and consists of events in various European countries, created special chronographs that pays tribute to its racing spirit. The Rallygraf Alpine Cup Series – Black Dial features a striking dial with a black and white colour scheme accented by subtle touches of blue. The dial follows a vintage-inspired bi-compax chronograph layout, reminiscent of classic race-car dashboards. The Two contrasting white sub-dials ( one for the chronograph's hour and the other one for the minute tracking ) stand out clearly against the black main dial, enhancing the visual appeal of the dial design. Subtle touches of blue can be seen on the watch, particularly on the tachymeter scale and the tip of the seconds hand. These small accents adds a hint of color, making the dial feel more dynamic and visually engaging. The dial also includes a date window positioned at the 6 o’clock, which integrates smoothly into the overall design without disrupting the balanced layout.
The watch is powered by the reliable Seiko VK64 mecha-quartz movement - in which the timekeeping functions are driven by a quartz calibre while the chronograph is operated through a mechanical module.
The Yema Rallygraf Alpine Cup Series is available in three dial colour variations - a striking alpine blue, black and white - each comes with the contrasting sub-dials that create a bold and eye catching chronograph design. The watch can be ordered either with a stainless-steel bracelet or a black leather strap. The Alpine cup series watches are assembled in the brand's facility in France. The first production batch will be limited to 200 pieces.
